noah collects only what it needs to introduce you to real people nearby, and shows the rest of the internet none of it. no ads, and we never sell your data. here's the whole picture.
your phone number. it's how we sign you in and how we keep noah to one account per person. it's never shown to anyone else on noah.
your profile: your photos, name, age, pronouns and the line you write about yourself. other verified members can see these, that's the point of a profile.
your approximate location, so we can show you people nearby. we store a rough point, not a live trail of where you go, and we never show your exact location to anyone.
basic technical info, the minimum needed to keep the app running and secure.
if you choose to do the selfie check, it's handled by our identity-verification partner purely to confirm you're a real, live person. the selfie is deleted as soon as the check is complete. noah never stores it.
other verified members can see your profile and your photos. your phone number and your exact location are never shown to anyone, ever.
only the services that keep noah running: our backend and storage host, an SMS provider to text your sign-in code, and our identity-verification partner for the selfie check. we don't sell your data, and there are no advertisers on noah.
you can edit your profile any time. you can delete your entire account from the "you" tab inside the app, which permanently erases your profile, photos, matches and messages. once it's gone, it's gone.
noah is for people 18 and over. it isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from minors.
noah is an early work in progress, so this policy will grow as the app does. we'll keep it honest and update the date above when it changes.
